Cutwel’s range of Korloy grooving and parting tools has been greatly expanded for 2007 to include a wide range of systems to cover your grooving and parting applications.

The range includes external tools for parting off, external grooving, face grooving, side turning, copying, relief grooving, narrow grooving and deep grooving. It also includes internal tools for small to large bores, narrow to wide grooves and geometries for grooving, copying and threading.

Saw Man Parting System
The Korloy Saw Man parting system takes a single ended parting insert that fits in a range of holders. The holders include:

• Block and blade type
• Square shank integral type

The Saw Man inserts range from 2 mm wide to 6 mm wide and
are available in a wide range of grades to suit all materials.

M.G.T. Multi Grooving System
The Korloy M.G.T. system is a fantastic universal tool range
that covers 10 applications (see page 170). The M.G.T. holders are available in:

• External

• External relief

• Face grooving
• Internal grooving

• Internal relief

The M.G.T. inserts will all fit into multiple holders and are available in 4 styles as below (from 2 mm to 8 mm)

• Grooving/turning

• Grooving

• Parting

• Copying

G.H. Narrow Grooving System
The Korloy G.H. narrow grooving system is ideal for o-ring and
snap-ring grooves. A single holder takes a range of insert widths.

The inserts range from 1.23 mm to 4.28 mm wide.

F.G.D. Face Grooving System
Korloy’s F.G.D. face grooving system is designed for shallow
to deep face grooves. Over 100 different holder styles are
available to suit your face grooving requirement.

The insert widths range from 3 mm to 5 mm.

Fine Tool Internal Machining System
Korloy’s Fine Tool system is an innovative internal machining system. With one toolholder you can carry out 5 applications

• Grooving

• Boring

• Copying

• Threading

• Mill grooving

Each toolholder takes a range of inserts, which in turn are
available in a wide range of widths. Toolholders are available
in steel or carbide and in OD sizes 8, 11, 14 and 16 mm.
